Dr. Sudesh Prabhakar MD (Medicine), DM (Neurology) is one of the leading neurologists in India. He was Head of the Department of Neurology at the reputed PGI Chandigarh for more than 22 years and has a copious experience of 45 years in the field of Neurosciences. Currently, he is the Director of Neurology department at Fortis Hospital, Mohali. Dr. Prabhakar is the Founding Fellow of the Indian Academy of Neurology. He is also a member of the International Stroke Society and the World Federation of Neurology. In the past, he has held the office for President – Neurological Society of India, Chairman of IMA College of Medical Specialities, Chairman – Brain Matters and Chairman – Indo US Stroke Conference, among others.
